"The event encompassed all the best parts of a festival spree with a timeless playlist, high-end British street food and rosé from all quarters".
Mid July 2017 saw the launch of the inaugural Rosé Festival in partnership with Champagne Laurent Perrier : the UK’s first and only festival dedicated to rosé wine.
The festival took place from Friday 21st – Sunday 23rd July 2017 against the picturesque backdrop of The Geffrye Museum in Hoxton. The event welcomed over 3,500 visitors to share in a celebration of food, entertainment and an abundance of rosé wine.
The festival offered visitors the chance to try a variety of different rosés from expert producers who were on hand to share their knowledge. The festival focused on both rosé champagne and wine, however producers were also displaying a range of other products including ciders, vermouths, proseccos and other sparkling wines.
To accompany the wide array of drinks on offer, a hand-picked selection of the best British food vendors were on site for the duration of the three-day festival accompanied by music and entertainment from an array of young and emerging talent from the UK.
Tickets for 2018's festival will go on sale early next year.
